Mission
The mission of Risen King Bible Church is to represent the reign of God on earth as it is in heaven.
Values
We supremely value God. Thus, we value that which God values, namely Himself, His Story as expressed in His Word, His People, and His World.
Because we value God, we desire to be a...
Our chief aim is to glorify God. This directive should be evident in our gatherings as a church family as well as our public and private lives. As creatures created to worship our Creator, glorifying God must encompass every part of our lives. We know that the power of strength for life, ministry, and service comes through unifying as a Body in prayer. We desire to pray that His Name, kingdom, and will be accomplished in us and through us on earth just as it is in Heaven.
Because we value God’s Story, we desire to be a...
We desire to know God and make Him known. God’s Story, as recorded in the 66 books of the Bible, is to be the primary source of knowledge about God and the primary subject of our teaching. As a discerning community, we rest upon the wisdom in God’s Word and commit to use it as a framework to discern between right and wrong; good, better, and best; and created goodness versus fallen creation.
Because we value God’s People, we desire to be a...
As a caring community, we desire to care for the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of those in the Body. We commit to help the members of the Body discover their spiritual giftedness and abilities and to equip them for the work of the ministry, for building up the Body of Christ. We believe that equipping and discipleship begins in the home and flows out into the Church Family.
Because we value God’s World, we desire to be a...
As a serving community, we desire to show God’s love, grace, compassion, peace, and concern for justice and mercy to our neighbors. We also desire to tell the whole Story to the whole person to the whole world. As we tell the Story of redemption offered through our Risen King, Jesus the Christ, we want others to not only hear this story but also see it evidenced in our daily lives.
